Hi all, I have just bought a Fuji S5500, and am very impressed with it, but I was wondering if anyone could tell me how much the 1.5x telephoto lens (optional extra) would increase the overall zoom by? Im new to photography as a whole, so in terms of say 3x, 4x, etc.. how much would my camera (10x optical zoom) gain if I was to add this lens? eg. 14x, 15x etc. Any help would be greatly appreciated
if i am not mistaken yout 1.5x telephoto lens will increase what ever your camera's optical zoom is by 1.5 for example optical zoom of 1 becomes 1.5 telephoto zoom optical zoom of 2 becomes 3.0 telephoto zoom optical zoom of 5 becomes 7.5 telephoto zoom am fairly new to photography myself and have the same camera as you - am very pleased with it!
