Hi Guys, Does anyone know what program I can use to encode a captured full screean TV program to 16x9 widescreen formmat? I tried in DVD maestro but the result is image is pressed and all people in the movie are shown shrunk. Any encoding software would do the magic?
hmm ...the reason widescreen is widescreen is because it has more video horizontally than fullscreen ...you only options to make full screen widescreen is to resize (which you did and youll have borders at the top bottom and sides, and itll be smaller) another option is to crop the fullscreen (like cut off some from the top and some from the bottom) either way will give pretty bad results ..but a tool called avisynth is great for doin this sort of thing on the fly you can get it here: http://www.videohelp.com/tools?tool=Avisynth be sure to goto the homepage and read some of theguides to get an idea of how and what this program does gl -nomad311
