I have upgraded my hdd to a 160 gig and have updated the bios and formated g drive. In system setting it says I have about 30 gigs on G drive. I have put a few games in the games folder on the g drive, but the games will not show in my games menu. In my HDD loader it does not show Partition 7. I have the"Use G Drive" marked yes in settings.

What I am saying is I am using my G drive as storage right now but can't access it from the xbox, only FTP.

    Any help please?

You will need to edit the evox.ini file to auto add from the G drive for things to show up in the menu.

I did edit it to say format G drive and it did format it. If this is not what you are talking about please give me an example.

    Thanks for the reply

    No,
You should have a couple of lines in the evox.ini file that say
    AutoAddItem "e:\HDDLoader\"
    AutoAddItem "f:\HDDLoader\"

You will need to add a line like
    AutoAddItem "g:\HDDLoader\"
If this is where your games are stored.

I tried what you said and I can see the games that are in G:\Games and the things in G:\Apps. But I did not have a line for E:\HDDLoader of F:\HDDLoader so I did not put a G:\HDDLoader in there. When I go to Hddloader it only shows me Partition 1 and 6 how do I see 7 in hddloader.

You would need to find a patch for the program that gives it G drive support. I don't know if there is one but I'll look around when I get a chance.

Ok, first off, why would you want to have a G partition? Why don't you use the F partition for your games and apps? With 160 gigs, it makes for one big ass partition! Use IT, and forget the G drive. It will keep everything simple. In your EVOX.ini file, keep autoadditems "Games" as is. Here's what I do, and it works:
I use HDDLoader to install games to the hddloader folder. once I have no more games to install, I use Boxplorer to rename the folder to "Games". That way, all the games show up in the "games" section, in the EVOX dashboard. When it's time to install more games, I just rename the "games" folder, to the "HDDLoader" My evox.ini has no "AutoAdditem" F: of G: for the "HDDLoader" folder, and the games run fine. One thing though, you may want to check your EVOX.ini file, and make sure that the "useitems" is set to "Yes". And in my opinion you do not need the G: folder. HDDLoader does not use it anyway :)

I use XBMC (xbox media center) For some reason I can't get XBMP to open my F: Drive at all. It's probably because it's an older beta version, or something, I don't know. I'll try installing a newer version or something, and I'll post you guys how it goes. Everything else works fine(games apps, ect) although Xcommander does not even show up in the dashboard at all, but since I've got pretty much everything else, including BOXPLORER, I don't see why I even need Xcommander. Anyway, when I try a newer version of XBMP I'll post you the results:)

daedalus: you cant make any one partition bigger than 137 gb... if you could there would have never been a need for xbox users to make a g drive in the first place. if you want to know why, here it is: http://www.hgst.com/hdd/support/hddfaqs.htm#17 ...i know it says for windows but xbox is the same reason....

Actually, LouCfer, You CAN have a partition bigger than 137Gb... with the latest EXECUTER BIOS, your partition limitation, is now in the terrabytes, believe it, or not! :) I realize that a lot of modders, probably still don't know this.
