Whenever I either add new .0 files to the G6DS or I take a .0 file that is already on there off and put it back on again later, the G6DS always shows that there is no save file when I start up the game. For instance, I was playing mega man zx and I took the .0 file off of the G6DS. I then put it back on right afterwards and there was no continue option when I started up the game again, even with the save file on there. What is the problem?
yeah, my G6 is a little odd that way too. If i backup a save, then swap it for an older one i had stored on my computer, i'll turn the system on and somehow the save i just removed from the cart is still there . I don't really understand it 100% but I suggest copying a fresh version of the .nds file over along with the .0 savefile, and hope that works.
@ maytricks: The reason your save does that is becuase the most recent save is kept in a seperate flash memory and is then copied to the card after a soft-reset or reboot of the DS. So say you have your original save "1" for game "A", you copy the save off the G6 onto your computer, you then play the game for a while and save creating save "2", you then turn off the DS and put your old save "1" back on the card. The problem arises when you then turn it back on, the G6 copys the save you had just created "2" onto the card overwriting your "1" save. A simple way round this is when you want to copy a save back onto your card is load a different game first (then turn off) so as to put a different save file into the flash memory. I hope you understood that not the easiest of things to explain (though i used to try to with the old slot-2 M3's which did the same thing) As for FiercDeit, not sure why you get that problem, but it could somehow be for the same reason so give it a go.
