galaxy tab 2 10.1

Newbie to tablet so help me out good people. I have att galaxy tab2 10. Sgh-i497 and what I wanted it to do is,1play my movies I have on pc through home network, and also by portable hard drive. I found app es explorer n downloaded it did show my moives but when I click on file it show question maks on ts file and I hit the play button on file it sez no application found so I downloaded cyberlink mobile 4 along with powerdvd 13 n remote.jit found nothing local or home media but it would let me control my powerdvd on pc, also pc doesn't show tab in network. So now I downloaded vplayer n it played but it like fastforward. Skip parts of movie lost sound anything but I wanted. I call samsung n they said that I cant watch moives from pc only by 3rd party app n they wouldnt tell me which one cyberlink hasn't answer yet. So any help u can give is appreciated

 

try mx player
