Quick question. I will be installing a big hard drive into xbox this week. What I want to know is when a game is copied from dvd tray to xbox hdd, can the game be ftp'd across to pc and then written to disc at a later date? Many thanks for any info!
lol.........im guessing that dvd2xbox just copies the files onto the hard drive, so it looks like how it was on the pc before I xISO it?? then i just transfer the files to computer like normal, from the hdd instead of the dvd drive???
DVD2Xbox you use just to copy from the disc to the hard drive You use either an FTP program, or something like Craxtion4 or Qwix to rip a game from the DVD drive to the PC through either a wireless network or crossover cable Then you use Qwix or Craxtion4 to take the folders you FTP'ed and create an ISO out of them. Then you use any burning program that can burn an ISO to DVD and Burn it to a good quality 8X DVD-R having a big hard drive is great. Then there is no need to carry disc with you if you take trips or visit friends as they are already on the Xbox. Not to mention slightly faster load times
See If you are planning to only rip your xbox game and if you have a dvd reader, you can download the DVD Decrypter software, insert your xbox game in your DVD drive, run DVD Decrypter and just decrypt the files to your PC.
