I've been playing my GC backups via crossover cable now for more than one year.. and because I'm getting more and more lazy I tried to connect my gamecube now to my network, to my router..

Via the PSO Network Setup I set the whole stuff to DHCP with my own PC - IP as DNS Server..
I used Cubesoft Phoenix 2.5 to connect.. and during that I sent ping requests to my GC.. they timed-out until PSOLoad or PSUL made a connection (then response <1ms).. but as soon as this window disappeared and at the TV it said "press start", I had time-outs again and it didn't load the backup.. For example when it works over crossover, ACL 1.4 says for instance always this C..C..C stuff ;) .. but now it just says X..XX.X.X..X .. :(

Have also tried to manually configure the IP Settings at the gamecube.. but it didn't work neither..

Has anybody already had luck with connecting the GC to a Router-network and a solution for my prob? ;)

    Thanks in advance :)
