No such thing as a gaming friendly firewall.

Security compromises Efficiency, Efficiency compromises Security. choose.

i have neither a Firewall Or an A/V scanner as my machine has nothing worth loosing, its all backed up. should i be hacked and a virus installed. it takes me an hour to get every thing back up and running.

where security is an issue such as online transactions, online browsing, and general use i use Linux. windows is strictly for gaming.

Thanks. I guess you are right. I might even go invest in a nice external drive come to think of it.

If you are on 32 bit OS, try Free Online Armour. It works for all my games, tunngle and other gaming lobbies. For gaming turn off the program guard feature.
