My son tells me that he is unable to save any game to the Xbox after playing since I have upgraded the HDD.
Game saves worked fine on Krayzie Splinter Cell softmodded Xbox before the HDD upgrade, but now (with same softmod) he gets an "Error Saving Game" message for anything he's playing.
Note: He's playing these games from the F drive in the Xbox as there are several stored there, not from discs in the tray.
    Would this make a difference?

    Thanks.

Well, it was a good suggestion, but both the UDATA and TDATA folders are present on E drive.
I feel bad for the kid because he can't turn the box off for fear of losing all the progress he's made in whatever game he's playing.
    Very peculiar issue.
I may have to put the stock drive back in, so he can at least play his backup discs and save games that way.

    Thanks for your help.

make sure there is no other saves on the xbox except the softmod installion files never delete them.alright to do that go back to the ms dash and go to memory and delete all other saves except the softmod installers. that will probably fix the problem...

I've backed up both UDATA and TDATA folders to my PC. I'll go thru the M$ dash and delete the other non-mod game saves, and see if that makes any difference.

    Thanks again.

yea i hope it works i dont know of any reason why it shouldnt but when i
upgraded my HDD my E folder wasnt working right and i had to replace it with the one from my original HD and it worked Perfect Flawless so if all else fails that might be what u have to do.
