exactly what hogan just said! apart from that i had to larf at the subject title of the thread as it could quite easily have read "Gary Moore (the best rocker on the face of the planet), but unfortunately the ugliest man on the planet", or "Gary Moore (the best rocker on the face of the planet) the only rocker with a face like a busted planet" sorry, couldn't resist. but your post has now made me realise i haven't got one of my fave Gary Moore albums on my mp3 player - that commercial one with the bluesy stuff on it..must dig that out tonight

I agree about Thin Lizzy. They would be one of my "desert island" must haves. Phil Lynott was one of the greatest wordsmiths that ever lived. I think "desert ilsand" songs would make a good thread.
