I'm having some trouble with some gba roms on my m3 lite, most notably in wario land 4, super mario advance 2 and 3, and various other games, black lines will show up in the background. On the legacy of goku, it says "cannot run on this hardware." Any way to fix these? *Update* Found an ips for legacy of goku, but can't understand what's going on in the background...
Have you tried running the originals of those games? It might be the GBA/DS that is causing the black lines, I had a GBA a while ago that had black lines for some games (original games) ended up replacing it.
I will have to try and replicate the problem tommorow, I can't say I've seen this happen before on the M3. Perhaps try changing the patching settings (software only or hardware only, no real-time save)
Thank you very much! They show up on sma 4 when you start a level if that helps. Your helpfulness continues to baffle me, mr_hanky.
I have just tried Wario Land 4, SMA 4 and SMA 3 and I can't get the lines to appear, I used Hardware Patch 1 and had Real-Time Save enabled. As I cannot replicate the problem I can't find a way to fix it. I can only guess fixes so here are some: Try loading the games using 'Start' not 'A' Try Hardware Patch 2 when copying the game over using gamemanager Try Software Patch when copying the game over using gamemanager Try disabling Real-Time save Finally, try not using the gamemanager at all, just copy the game to your SD card and copy a blank save file from "C:\Program Files\M3 GAME Manager\gamesave" and renaming it to be identical to the ROM name (apart from .dat instead of .nds at the end)
