GBA Save to DS or R4

    Hi I am new here. I will appreciate it if anyone can answer this.(sorry for all the newbie formal talk).
    So I was wondering if it is possible to save a GBA cart save onto the console or r4? some of my gba games fail to save-probably something with the battery-so maybe the save data can be stored somewhere else. In the R4 site it says that the saves are directly onto the flashcard so maybe I can store a save on the R4 while it is in slot-1 and the GBA cart in slot-2.

    No. Not possible the way you want to do it.

    Saving GBA save games on an R4 assumes that you are using a slot-2 flashcart in Slot-2.

    There is no way (that I am aware of) to redirect the save game from a native GBA cart to a flashcart.

    I thought I could be able to do so and be able to save with some games that stopped saving.
