Look, I'm desperate and need someone with the knowledge to tell me how I can recover my xbox due to my son loading xbox live through a game. I have an xbox version 1.4 (2003) and I had Evolution X as a dashboard, it's sofmodded I believe. Can somone please give me an idea on how to recover this box, i believe it's just renaming the dashboard file but I'm not certain. I require some assistance, anyone out there with the know how?
ok what exactly happend...did you get banned or is your Xbox live Dashboard not loading????If you have gotten banned you will need a new eeprom which isnt banned.....the only way to get this is if you have an extra one or somebody gives it to you....
What happended is that he tried to play xbox live; I'm unsure of what game. Now when the xbox boots, it boots to the xbox live dashboard or construct. What I'm trying to achieve is to recover the xbox to Evolution X and the softmod that was originally or a new softmod, which of course won't delete all the games and etc (but if I do but can use softmod to recover and lose data no big deal). Thanks. By the way, I've tried IRC and dl slayer but I keep getting CRC errors against the password, can't get the IOS to extract. Anyone have Slayer that works with a nominated password or AD?
