i heard that some people are working on a genesis emulator for ds since it would be more than fast enough to run the roms, does any one know where there might be a beta version of this to download or could anyone send this to me if they have heard about this
Hmmm I wouldnt be so sure about that. How would you be able to transfer the files etc. over to your DS. That would be a bit of a problem. Also, the DS doesnt have as much vstorage capacity as the PSP (which already has a Genesis Emulator) Just my thoguhts, Jin666
from what i heard u just put it on a gba flash cart and my guess is that the emulator once it is compiled with games would have a .nds.gba extension just like when u play DS roms using a flash cart
whats a flash cart and how would you put games on that? Are there actuall any working DS emulators out there?
1) a flash cart is something u can flash games and programs to such as a NES emulator compiled with roms then u insert it into ure game boy or DS like an ordinary gba cart and play them, if u want to run DS games with one u have to patch them so the extension is .nds.gba instead of just .nds and the first time u run the game u need a chip called passme inserted into the DS slot i have an EFA Flasher if u want to look at one and this site has a bunch of info on flash carts http://www.gameboy-advance.net/ 2) yes there is a few working DS emulators but most of them only run a small list of commercial roms NDS is 32-bit right? that should run genesis roms fine P.S. some sites call them flash carts and some call them cards so may b thats what confused u
