Ok i have a slight problem w/ my xbox. i did the softmod thing and follwed the guide to replace a hd i used a Hitachi ic35l090avv207. It says its compatible. i used xboxhdm 1.9 to copy the eeprom and stuff and then put it in and it works fine. i can get to the unleash x dash and half the time it works. emulators work etc. but games that i ftp over xisomanager after i extract them fail to work. they just freeze at the loadign screen. then when i turn it off then back off the light flashes green-red and i get the screen saying my xbox needs to be serviced and gives me error 09. wandering what the problem is. if i wait about an hour and turn it on again itll boot fine into unleashx but still cant load games other then emulators. any suggestions?
Firstly, empty youe E:\Cache folder. Also, try Quix, I hear this is the way to go. As for your error, it's some sort of hard drive error, is the jumper setting on the HD set to master?
Thanks for the reply. I figured out what it was its a bad HD. I've hooked the hd up to about 3 different comps and none of them can even recognize it in the bios. So i bought a 200gb seagate and hopefully that will work good. -mike
