i know this has been posted like a million times,but this question is kinda different. i know it takes 25 for junior member, 100 for member, 500 member, and 2500 aD addict, and that saftey valve doesn't count, also that you don't get your rank right away because it takes aD a while to update. im just asking because im getting tired of waiting 3 min. for a post...but i guess i'll have to wait. ok to my question when you go to my account and it tells you the # of messages you replyed to and the # of threads you have subscribed to. so does the # of messages you replyed to or the # of threads you have subscribed to count for getting a higher rank or both?
Put it this way. Once you have made 25 *non-safety valve* posts, you will be a junior member, regardless of number of threads subscribed to. If you have already achieved the number of posts required for junior membership, but still have the newbie title, this is because you are between transition dates, so [bold]dont fret[/bold], your status will upgrade soon enough.

okay i just wasn't sure if only the number of threads subscribed to counted or the number of messages replyed to im sorry my question was kind of confusing the way i worded it

The last straw with me and what led to your banning was the fact that you were padding your post count and here we are obsessing about rank again and posting this in our shoutbox, That 3 minute wait really sucks when you're trying to balloon your post count eh? I don't like you and against my better judgement I'm not going to ban you right here and now but know this - you're under a microscope with me. Don't mess up.

@ddp, ok im not going to lie to you i told my brother to go onto his account and suggest to put a sticky for my tut. i only did this because i wanted to help people i know there are sofmoding tuts, but none for agent under fire, and i didn't see any tuts on how to apply ppf, sppf, and serenity patches i understand if you suspend me for doing that but please do not ban me. i know on my last account i was an idiot to keep posting so i could get a higher rank. i was stupid i admit it but know all i want to do is help people out with modding who need it. that's why i wanted those posts to be stickied.
ok i take it that i will be banned and never be allowed back to this web site to help people or ask for advice again. i just want to say i had a good time while it lasted and enjoyed helping all of those people. and i want to thank everyone that has answered my questions. it's been a good time here at aD. ok by everyone (if i get banned which im guessing i will). i hope one day i will be back again see ya.

Yes, Nephilim i read your post and I understand what you mean. I know that on my last count I was stupid to keep writing messages in multiple replies instead of one. That was because I was an idiot and just cared about my rank in aD. I won't let it happen again know all I want to do is focus on helping people. and i want to let you know that all of those posts are ACTUAL POSTS i did not keep replying to messages like i did with my other account. those posts are from helping people without "balooning" the posts. @~RoNin~ that was my brother's account and i told him to put that, but yeah technically it is the same as me making 2 accounts and putting that, yeah i know im an idiot
why did u ban him over something no one cares about? he replies lengthily, ok? solutions in seek of problems, i think some of these rules are. and (no offense) this is a true question of mine
