Getting rid of things in my tray

    I probably didn't say that right but I will try to explain. I have 2 programs that automatically go on when I boot up. One is Picture Package VCD Maker nd the other is Nero something.

    I'd still like to have them on my drive but don't want them up before I choose them. Can someone tell me how to remove them from my tray (bottom right corner of my desktop).

    well iam not sure about thoes programs but there should be something that will allow you to change the settings, i am not sure but maybe its in the options menu

    Go to Start then go to run and type msconfig then to startup and untick everything you don't wish to start when you boot up.

    Thanks Bunny C that is exactly what I needed. And to think I was reading through 5 different Xp books. All I Needed Was You.

    If thats not a song title it should be
