Greets All. I recently bought a standalone player to get my handycam recordings onto DVD. This works well for me for capturing the data onto a disc without much loss of information. However, the DVD standalone recorder is putting everything into VOB files, and I'd like to get them into a more workable format (eg mpeg, avi or etc.) so that I can edit them in Premier. Can anyone recommend a way to do this? Thanks, Will
Also, something free, yet reliable would be nice... if any such thing exists... But, if reliability was a concern, then I'd pay for one... I just found a VOB to avi converter for $30.oo, but there might be something better out there. I have Blender, btw... It has a video editor that I havent explored yet... Does anyone know if it will converter VOB objects? TIA, Will
And yet one more thing presents itself... The want to convert the files back into VOB format for burning to DVD... ughh... Will
