I recently upgraded to Nero 8 ultra and using Nero Vision to import an AVI file. All works fine except there is a ghost image or rather a mis-registration problem when I playback the movie in preview window. Tried burning a DVD thinking it was just a preview issue, but problem was still there. Never had this problem with an older version of NV. AVI was recorded with Virtual Dub and it plays back fine in Windows Media player and nero showtime. The only thing I can think to do is re-install. OS: Vista Nero: 8.2.8.0 In the below screenshot, the text "Memphis Belle" is supposed to be a bright yellow, but due to mis-alignment, it's now pink. This registration problem occurs throughout the movie.
I should have included this important detail in my post. I've installed a dual layer dvd burner. That's the only thing that has changed since having this problem. I wonder if nero vision is detecting this and there is some setting I'm missing. I don't see how this would affect the preview before I even burn a disc though, but who knows.
