Hi i have just installed a pioneer DVR-216 and have a strange problem. It works fine i have burnt a couple of discs with it. But my problem is every time i open a new window or browser the drive tray opens.The only SATA ports i have left available are the purple ones I swapped one of my hard drives over to the purple slot and now the burner is working properly. But now the HDD is erratic sometimes it is there and sometimes it isn't. When it is detected i have the safely remove hardware icon in the taskbar My mainboard is a GA965P-DS3P and the bios settings are SATA RAID/AHCI mode currently disabled available settings are disabled raid AHCI SATA PORT 0-3 native mode currently disabled Available settings disabled enabled Onboard SATA/IDE CTRL mode currently IDE available settings IDE AHCI RAID/IDE Will changing any of these settings make it work like a normal SATA port.
