i am building my first cpu
    this is powered by amd
    processor : phenom II x4 955BE
    motherboard: msi 890gxm-g65
    memory: ripjaw g.skill 1333 x dual cl7
    video card: sapphire 6850 1gb
    psu: coolermaster gx 750w
casing: antec 600 or aerocool rx-9 pro
hard disk: Western digital 500gb sata 3.0

please help me to build this budget gaming PC
my budget is 500 to 550 US dollars
if you have any suggestion please let me know.

by the way i am from the Philippines their are some products that cannot be bought here.

    this are my questions

    1. is my processor slow? or should i take a athlon II x4 640 or the phenom II x4 840t? or should i wait for the bulldozer processor from amd to be released this july. and how much do you think this bulldozer will cost?

2.is my motherboard good enough or should i wait for the 990 chipsets?
is this motherboard good for cross firing 6850's? and how much do you think this 990 chipsets will cost?

    3. is my ram good enough for gaming or too much? and maybe i should spend more money to the other parts?

    4. is my video-card good enough for gaming?
or maybe i should buy the newest the "6790"
is 6790 faster than the not so old 6850?
    which is better for overclocking?
the brand i will buy if i take any of this two is a sapphire
    example
    sapphire 6850 1gb toxic
    and
sapphire 6790 1gb( i hope their will be a toxic edition for this video card)

    5. is my power supply too much? any ideas?
those these power supply support crossfire for 4 pcies?

    6. is my casing good for gaming( i mean good for a so hot overclocked amd powered cpu?
    what casing should i buy?
or change my mind and have a much expensive full tower?
    any ideas?

    7. i do have this hard disk so i don't have any questions for this..

    last one favor
please post your ideas and comments about this gaming CPU
if you think i need to change all of the parts then post another gaming rig.
that's all thank you so much for helping

strewth.. some people.. A CPU is a component.. a chunk of hardware which sits in a socket on a motherboard.. get your terminology right for starters eh?

    1. Its not slow at all, but kind of inefficient compared to intel. i use a similar processor though and im happy with it. The Bulldozer will likely be more expensive, but still cheaper than intel counterparts.
2.Try to get an 890FX since your using a graphic card in pci-e. There will be more bandwidth for the video you do use, or so i hear. Check and see if this board will have a firmware update any time for AM3+, some boards will do this, and support at least a few of those AM3+.
    3. It's fine.
    4. 6970 is about the top of the line for a single GPU from AMD for 6xxx series. 6950 is under that.
    5. check the specifications on the makers web site.
6.get a big mid-tower or a full tower. you want negative pressure from fans.

<PS, a cpu is term for the processor, just older terminology.

I looked at the ratings of the board on the site i shop at. the rating was about the same, but there were many more reviews for msi than asrock. that, and ive heard a bit more about msi here, too. Like that they are pretty good company for AMD products.
