Hi there, I have an honest question as Im very new to all this but learning as I go along, has anyone got an opinion on whether I should invest in the Krypview 750 and stay with my mmds aerial, or switch over to my sattelite reciever and go for the dreambox 500c? My feeling is that there isnt much difference and as I have both receiver methods on the roof of my house, Im wondering what to do. Im in the very centre of Ireland and delighted with this forum. Thanking you in advance.

you cant use either now on MMDS as the encryption has been changed to nagra 3 and at the present time there is no boxes woring in eire so you either have to go sat or take a min sub out with your provider till we see what happens

Thanks very much e45,thats a big help. I was under the impression that the Kryptview 750 was the mmds version of what the dreambox achieves with The satelite Dish. So for me now its just a choice between the Kryptview and the Dreambox using the Dish. Which would you go for? And many thanks again..

you can only use the dreambox for satalite and has to be a satalite dreambox not a cable one wont work on MMDS and you would have to have a sky dish also kryptview is a cable box and only works on cable and not a dish

Excellent Stuff, thanks e45 for the information. Have the Sky dish, so its just a matter of getting a satellite dreambox now.
