gold, silver or aluminum

    I know that most normal dvds use aluminum as the reflective layer. What do blu-ray and hd-dvd use. The data layer in a blu-ray is just 0.1mm from the surface, so if it uses aluminum or silver is not it likely to get oxidised if the disc is scratched.

    It would get oxidized.
