For all you California people, all 46 Good Guys locations are closing down. That means FAT sales. I just learned about it now so I'm going to hit them up tomorrow and hopefully get a sweet deal on a car stereo.

actually, from what i read in the news, Compusa BOUGHT out Good Guys for a MEAGER $55 million, dude, that is a drop in the bucket when you compare that in relation to large corporate companies that easily spend that much/year on marketing alone~!

if I had that kind of money, i would have bought out Good Guys too~ that place was THE place to go for HIGH-END authorized audio/video components~ :) actually worked there for almost 5 years when i was younger...it was great~ :)

anyways, i read a rumor that ONE premier Good Guys here in Beverly Hills (Beverly Center/Connection) will remain open...for how long? i don't know~ :) all the other stores are closing down from what i read...

good luck guys, hope you can get what you want at a good price~
