Good laptop in the sub $600 range

    Not sure if this is the right spot to I apologize in advance..

    I am looking to get a new laptop for my dad who would only be using the computer for word processing and web browsing. Nothing too special is needed.

    He had a few things he wanted though,

    at least a 15.5 inch screen
    built in wifi


    that's it.

    I only know intel CPU's so I am not sure about how solid the AMD one is. Any suggestions?
