Good motherboard/bad hard drive...

    Can anyone tell me if it is possible to use an motherboard if a hard drive has went dead and you don't know what the EEPROM password?

    Are you sure the hardrive is dead or did you just not make a backup of the eeprom? If your hardrive is dead and you dont have your eeprom your basicly screwed!!!

    waht if i dont have a backup of hte hd. but im installing a executer 3 ce modchip and new hd?

    I wouldn't know about that. Ive never had a modchip.
