ive got an avi file which when played or put on disc it has a border all round the edge of screen, similar to letterbox but with black borders in the side..is there anyway of cutting the borders off or resizing the picture to get rid of the borders, looked everywere but not had any luck cheers
I have used this to remove garbage from AVI files. Run Vdubmod and load or drag the AVI Video..Full Processing mode Video..Filter > Add > (select the Null Transform filter)> OK > Cropping Adjust so the crop will be even all around > OK > OK. Video > Full Processing Mode Video > Compression > XVid Mpeg4 > OK File > Save as AVI VirtualDubMod 1.5.10.2 http://sourceforge.net/project/showfiles.php?group_id=65889 If you don't have this codec, download and install. XVid Codec http://www.xvid.org/ If you want an audio codec. Lame MP3 codec http://www.freecodecs.net/files/lame-3.97.zip Install lame codec. http://users.tpg.com.au/mtam/install_lame.htm
ive tried that recently, but when saving the file it started to end up massive,it nearly filled my harddrive, original file 900 mb,but i dont thing i did this part though (Video > Compression > XviD Mpeg4 > ok) i will give it another go though.it was the only program that nearly worked for me..will try soon cheers..
