Got my X3ce - a quick question about system files before I install it all.

The original mod of this box was done by someone else - I used XSaveMgr and got a hit for AID - so I assume he used that.

What I am wondering is did he back up any files off the original Hard Disk - run AID and then copy them back into the same place on the new Hard Drive. Or does AID install everything required on a blank drive.

I wondered if their where Microsoft files that are needed that don't come with AID and need keeping.

If anything needs backing up can someone let me know - I haven't seen anything in any tutorials that says you should - but I want to be sure.

    Cheers.

Also are there any good tutorials that DON'T link to Teamxecuter? On the off chance they don't appear before Sat (site has been down for two days now-Microsoft pi**ed at them?)

Specifically burning the BIOS to DVD-R and using Flash BIOS - I have managed to find the Dip Switch settings so I think they are all I need.

But any guides are most welcome. The more the merrier.
