I'm guessing this is for fan speed, since you use a 3870?
BIOS updates can be quite risky, so I don't usually bother. If you want the fan speed raised, just use RivaTuner.

I'm not quite sure what it is! I just ran SiSoftware and I got a message that the BIOS on my GPU need an update! Beside, I do not have the original fan on 'cause I have change that to an Arctic Cooling Accelero S1 Rev. If update not necessary than I am not bother.

Other- When I power on my comp. it does run the self test on each hardware part and I can see it on the screen, it normally taks just a sec. however latelly it stops by "initialising USB drives" or something like that for about 10-15 sec and than everything goes normaly. Why does my system think relatively long at this point? Is it something I need to worry about?

    Thanks

Contrary to what Sandard may tell you, just because you can update the BIOS doesn't mean you should. BIOSes are a good example of 'If it ain't broke, don't fix it!'

As for the USB hang, remove your USB devices one by one. If the pc is much faster minus one of them, consider replacing it, or moving it to a different port.
