graphic card doesnt work

    ati radian 9600 graphic card(256 )
    amd athlon xp 2600
    512mb ram
    xp pro


    hi genius guys
    i wanted to know how come i cant play half life or anyother 3d games.
    whenever i play my pc reboots.
    and when it does. in startup it says 'unknown error occured'
    can body help me with it.
    is it my cpu's fault or graphic card's

    do you have directx 9c & latest driver for the videocard installed. did you load the motherboard drivers or let windows load its own??

    i installed the drivers using the cd provided
    i upgraded it from ati's site

    what agp speed is the card & what is the motherboard bios set at for agp speed??
