Graphic Card/Mainboard compatability query

    I don't see why not. However, make sure that the onboard graphics chip is disabled, in the BIOS. It should disable automatically, when you install a standalone video card, but check to make sure.

    Adding to the grandpaBW's correct post, I'd also download and install the latest driver from the website of whichever card you purchase. The CD that comes with the card usually has the original driver, and thats usually several revisions old so use that if you cant download the "latest, greatest" beforehand!
