Are all AGP 8x 1.5v? if yes, how would u know if ur motherboard is agp 8x? What the heck does the "v" stand for? Lastly, does any of u guys know a great place (website) to buy graphic cards?
alot of graphic cards are agp 4x,, , and in the mobo description it will say,, and in the graphic description it will say.. newegg.com xpcgear.com and zipzoomfly.com are all great websites to buy hardware
the 1.5v stands for 1.5 volts needed for the videocard. check your motherboard manual or user guide for what speed agp is on your board
Some bedtime reading for you at http://www.interfacebus.com/Design_Connector_AGP.html Most places sell them. http://www.newegg.com http://www.ebuyer.com Depends where you are located....................
let me explain it more, my motherboard can support agp 8x and i found a vdeo card that is agp 8x and i.5 v. So i wanted to know if all agp 8x vido cards are 1.5 v?
1: user guide 2: motherboard manual 3: printed on motherboard itself not on chips, usually in between the pci slots 4: top left & bottom left corners of post screen
Finally i got some more info., well, i have a ASUS A7V8X-LA motherboard and will that be compatible with ANY AGP 8x Nvidia Geforce 6800 GT? IF not, what can i do to make it compatible (such as buying a new motherboard)?
