    Hi,
Im running a geForce 8500GT and I am trying to get a tv screen working as the second monitor. I have followed the setup as prompted on the nvidia control panel, to no sucess. When I boot windows, the bios boot and windows loading appears on the TV, but after that its all back on the monitor with nothing on TV. The nvidia control panel wont let me choose multiple displays, just the "single display" option.

any ideas on where i am going wrong would be appreciated.

    Thanks
    Dave

I have the same video card you need to set it up to clone the screen to both monitors if you want only the other screen an easy fix is disconnect your monitor and reboot Nvidia cards default to the display currently connected. Make sure you have the latest drivers by going to Nvidia.com to clone you also shouldn't have to reboot.

thanks for the quick response. When i go to set up multiple monitors, i dont have the option to do any clone or any other monitor, just sits on single display. here is a link to the screen shot:

The software \ drivers are the latest. I went to website and let the site search itself.
