Well I have been running a web site for a bit, and the company decided to upgrade there version of MYSQL, and I honestly do not know anything about MYSQL or PHP. I run a wiki on my website, and now I have trouble I have been told that I need to install the mbstring as well as configure the script to use pconnect (persistent connections) to the mysql database. I have asked on the wiki forun, php forum, mysql, and tryed emailing people about this, and they have completely ignored me. My web site seems to not load certain pages and it is because of this. I need to know how to do this. I do not even know where to start... So if anyone is willing to help me out with this, even though im new, i will greatly appreciate. Thanks.
