Im tryin to get it to work on my r4 card, im running 1.18 so i got latest software but when i load the game it says, the save data could not be accessed, please turn the power off and restart the ds card?? i tryed everything,, all i can think is that the rom is nuked??? any ideas?
Doesn't work on most cards yet.... Only working with the M3/G6 DS Real Latest: v4.3a x40... Gonna have to wait for a patch or patched version....
Yeah, i can confirm the new version works on the M3 Sakura firmware (Which didn't work with the first release), and i've heard it works on all other cards as well.
Hello everyone, I have an M3 DS Real and have the the latest firmware (4.3) but I still cannot get GTA:CTWs to work. The game loads fine but when it asks me to make a save file and I click "YES" and pick an empty slot, the screen goes dark. Any suggestions on getting this to work?
download the patched version ...the unpatched version needs both the arm7.bin and arm9.bin to be replaced ,do this using dslazy ,
I got mine to work by replacing the arm files but the only thing that is weird is the game will produce a corrupt save everytime when using the autosave feature. So to avoid this, I disabled autosave and only save at the safehouse and it works fine. Anyone else have this problem? Using R4 with lastest firmware.
FWIW, I have the patched version running fine on R4 (original) running 1.18 and the unpatched version running fine on a CycloDS running 1.54
The original does not run on the M3 DS Simply firmware v1.14. I get the black screen with the "unable to access save data" error. I can confirm that the patched version does run on the same hardware/firmware.
The original (clean rom) ONLY ran on the cyclods on its release (THATS why its No1 - even if it does cost a bit more than the others) Several other cards have now had a firmware update to solve the issue, others have not and are still waiting, others never will. The patched rom runs on most cards, although there have been reports of issues with multiplayer games
Actually no, i know someone who has a CycloDS and it didn't work for them, but also, as someone above has said, "Only working with the M3/G6 DS Real Latest: v4.3a x40" It was the G6 and the M3 Real (newest firmware) that the original worked on (Also seen this confirmed by someone on piratebay).
Well I have an M3 Real, and can confirm 100% it is NOT working (unpatched - clean rom) on the latest firmeware 1.35 Sakura or 4.3 touchpod. It is still awaiting a fix, confirmed by the M3 real that they are still working on it. Cyclods latest firmware - working by altering a few settings - this was the only cart that was confirmed as working at release (on the clean rom), several other cards have already had the updated to solve the issue, EZ Flash, Edge, Acecard. Cyclo has also has an update so it now starts without the need to change any settings.
that statement is NOT strictly true. i have gta china (clean rom) on my supercard ds one and it is working perfectly. and as for being No1, well thats subjective really...
I'd say it's pretty amazing (Though i've ended up playing Pokemon Platinum right now), i have GTAIV on PS3 and this pretty much beats it hands down - It's certainly one of the best games on DS, don't think anyone can deny that, maybe even THE best.
