I recently purchased a new E-815. I also bought a USB Data cable for it so that I could transfer pix, ringtones, etc. back and forth. Well after two days of trying to DL the driver, and the Handset Manager, and whatever the **** else I need to DL for this damn thing to work, I am not a single step closer to using this damn USB data cable and the phone together. Is there any links to easier, more user-friendly DLing programs for this damn thing? The USB Data Cable came with a CD but that thing AUTOS-ON but doesn't do **** after that. The cable is an Insten...not sure if that helps at all. This actual item... http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dl.../search.dll?from=R40&satitle=9729018599&fvi=1 And my op system on my PC is XP.

What more can I tell you all that would help you guys aid me in getting this damn thing to work for me?

    Thanks in advance!!!

Well, I got the MPT program to work, and can retrieve texts, contacts, and a few other things, but no ringtones, pix, etc.

    Any ideas?!!?!?

Yeah what steven said. At the right of the image of your phone there ahould be a little yellow bell. Click that and the melody studio opens up and you can take it from there for ring tones.

Nope. I see no setting for multimedia or said "yellow bell."

Been there, done that. That didn't work either.

This is fusking rediculous. It should not be this hard to transfer fusking pix or sound files from my cell to my pc without fusking messaging them. Can anyone help me with this nonsense?

Oh sorry, I didn't check which phone you had. I thought it was a normal GSM phone. But if thats what you gotta do then do it. But i think it will void your warranty

I'm done. I don't have the kind of patience and time that's required to get this phone right.
