    hello

i had movie with 4 parts(avi/ac3). i merge it to one part (avi) using virtualdub 1.8.0.
after merging it, i notice that only from the begening of the 3th part i have half second audio delay.

i marked the section with END\HOME, but when i choose the audio delay option,
the delay is activate to all the movie.

how can i "teach" virtualdub to make the change to half movie only?

**in the original 3th part there is no audio delay problem!

Check parts 1 and 2. Perhaps the audio was slightly too long/too
short. Open up the parts one at a time in virtualdub. Look at video/frame rate/"change so audio and video durations match"

    hi tnx!

the problem is in the 3th part i had this error:
AVI: truncated or invalid compressed audio format detected (18 bytes' should be 36) attempting to fix

when i try to match the frame rate i cant save the file i get error:
    "unable to open the file".

i try to re-merge the files but it dont let me i get thr error:
AVI: truncated or invalid compressed audio format detected (18 bytes' should be 36) attempting to fix.
after i success to merge part1+2.

i want to try to fix the united file. and the half second delay.

If it's the third part, open it in Virtualdub and set
    video/direct stream copy.
    File/save as avi.

This creates a "new" third part. Does it work now ?
