ok i have a question anyone have an unmodded map i can have a copy of to mess with? i have all the software to softmod but i have yet to do it, as school is keeping me from it. basically all i want is a copy of some unmodded halo 2 maps to practice modding on, if this is against any rules ill delete this pos,t i apologize for my noobness in advance.
ok, well ive looked around a bit more and i have found a site with mods. would i be able to download a modded map from here then open up in dot halo or such and further mod it?
You need to have the original halo 2 maps to apply ppfs to. Just take the new map pack's .map files off your Xbox using FTP which is a process to connect your Xbox and computer together to share files. Then mod them however you want, resign them, then FTP them back onto your Xbox and play them! It's that easy man.
