Okay, I'm gonna be asking a lot of questions, but a little at a time. First off, I have a modded xbox with both EvolutionX and UnleashX; I used SID4 to install it.
I need to know how to get the halo 2 maptacular maps into my computer. What do I do?

THEORY 1: I take out the xbox from my TV and plug it into my computer, then I use my PC to transfer the files?
THEORY 2: I copy the map pack to my memory card (via dashboard memory) and then put it in my computer (via Action Replay)

Uh... how do I do that? I remember seeing something on SID4 about FTP, though. Do I select "Start FTP"?

(most importantly, does a FTP connect to your PC via internet?)

k, I'll check it out. OMG! yesterday I got an xbox 360! I'll still try to softmod, but I just need some time alone with my 360... Unfortunately, I forgot to buy a 360 game when I got the system (but I paid the $400 one) so I'm stuck looking at an awesome halo dashboard...

EDIT: ok I went to the link, but all I see is a list of things I can download. huh?

No it isn't. It's a tutorial. I just checked the link. Maybe it's cause you need to register there first.

download a FTp client (eg. smartFTp, FlashFXp...) put your ip as non static and put the ip that it shown on your dash in the FTP address bar, Username and Password will both be xbox, connect, the maps you are looking for will be in E:/TDATA/4d530064/$c the 3 folders in there will contain all 9 of your .map files
