I have a modded xbox and wanted to know if anyone knows where I can get the maps as recent as Turf, Elongation, Containment, Sanctuary, or a place where they have them all and I can download. The helps is much appreciated. Thanks!

Moreover, I'm interested in finding somewhere with homebrew maps, because rumor has it there are a lot of good multiplayer maps just floating around the web. I haven't found them for download yet, but I'd sure love to!

Someone needs to make a Halo2 map website! That would be awesome.

There already is: Mimesis - http://www.projectmimesis.org/
This goes on your Xbox and you can download halo 2 maps off their servers. Some are just skinned, others have mods, and some are completely new altogether :D

You can get Mimesis in the usual places, try torrent sites to start off...

All assistance is appreciated very much.... But that's a dead link. I have that program on my system, didn't even know what it was for... But I'll have to take a look. All I know is that it gets an error and crashes when I try to run it...

Attention everyone. The funeral session for the link 'http://www.projectmimesis.org/' is now commencing.

I lay thee 'http://www.projectmimesis.org/' to rest. Ye were a good link, strong, proud, and at some time, probably useful. As we bury you, a now dead link, let us all remember the good times, let us remember the happy moments, when we first met you. Our first click. The fond memories we have of accessing you for information about mimesis and halo modding. Rest well assured, ye dead link, we shall not remember thee for the false implications entailed within your actual linked address, but for the hope and interest that you brought to us. We, this world shall remember thee kindly.

I've always wondered if they bury dead links. :D
