Hey guys....I usually dont post in this forums so forgive me if anything seems noobish.

I have a sony handy cam DCRHC40 with the memory stick pro duo slot.

My question is, how to i switch the camera into "memory stick mode" so that i can record video to my memory stick? I am pretty sure its possible, i just cant figure out how.

EDIT: not sure why the title messed up!

You cannot record video to the memory stick. If the salesperson told you that, I'd never go back to the same store.

All is not lost. A Firewire PCI/Cable combo is pretty cheap. I'm guessing around $20-30. Sometimes it even includes free capturing software.
