Hard drive error

    when I try to open my external hdd or double click it's icon instead of opening up it brings up the "open with" box giving me serval options of programs to use to open it and wont let me view the files how can I fix this?

    if you using XP try a right Click and explore. sounds like the drive path got screwed up

    Thank you that seems to work, but is there any way to fix the drive path? If there is not then this will work but just wondering.
