ok my friend gave me his xbox and it had an error 13 i read it and it said it had something to do with the harddrive i tried everything i could but the harddrive wont work...the xbox was never modded so i never got a chance to back-up the eeprom is there anyways i can get to the eeprom becuase if so i could just add a new hard drive any help with be appreciated....
Why didnt you ask me for help? Well anyways your going to perform an hdd swap and find the M$ dash somewere of the internet and replace the current dash. error 13 means dash failed to load. You should be able to play games. Just use the exploit to ftp into the xbox.
yea but that the prob games wont load and no dash at all.plus i never put any saves on his xbox in the first place i got it all messed up so im just gonna get a modchip and get a new harddrive.
No need for that just make a backup of your c and e and perform a hotswap between your xbox and his and ftp the files over.
