Yesterday i turned on my PC only to find that only a blank screen appeared, so i took out my hard-drive that i keep all my files on (Was having some probelems with it lately so i thought it might be that) and kept the drive that has the OS on and program files and it works fine.

But i really need to put my other drive in because it has all my files on and my PC is useless without it at the moment. So formatting it is not an option...

Is there anyway to solve this problem?

    thanks...

    Try this link
    http://www.seagate.com/www/en-us/support/downloads/seatools
Download utlity and burn to disc. Have problem hard drive boot from this disc and it should tell you if the HDD is bad. I guess if it is bad then google data recovery. If HDD is good then look for another problem. Hope this is some help
