Im trying to hardcode subtitles [.srt] to an .avi file but every thing I have found is info on hardcoding for a dvd. That would be fine, but i don't use dvd's. I watch all of my .avi files from a portable hard drive on my xbox. Im not interested in making a dvd, so does anyone know how to do this in one swing without making a dvd then backing up that file and reformating to .avi?!?!?

I have done ALOT of reading trying to find a way to do this...PLEASE HELP!!!!

    AviDemux.

    Load the video.
    'Format' > 'AVI'
    'Video' > 'MPEG 4 XviD)
    'Filter' > 'Subtitles'

After loading the .srt file, close back to the main screen and save the video.
Give it a new name including extension, e.g. newfile.avi
