so i make a dvd image to my harddrive. it takes up a good 4gigs. after deleting the image my harddrive still has the same amount of free space that it had when the 4gigs were on the harddrive. what should i do? Thanks
Is it in the Recycle Bin? If it's not in the recycle bin, do you have Norton System Works installed? _X_X_X_X_X_[small]Looks like I picked the wrong week to stop sniffing glue DVD Rebuilder Guides: http://www.afterdawn.com/guides/archive/dvd_rebuilder_tutorial.cfm http://www.afterdawn.com/guides/archive/dvd_rebuilder_tutorial_advanced.cfm[/small]
no you cant fit a dvd image in the recycle bin because it is too big therefore when asked to be deleted it is permanently deleted. Yes i fortunatly have norton systemworks
That's probably your problem actually. System Works has a program that keeps the contents of your Recycle Bin after you delete them. It's called Norton Protected Recycle Bin. If I remember correctly, it should add an option to the context (right-click) menu of your Recycle Bin to "Empty Norton Protected Files" or something like that.
