    Hello,

Im trying to set these games up on an old rig but I keep getting the the full kill hard restart after a few seconds into the games

    the games are:
    Loki
    Oblivion
    Fallout 3
    Hellgate London

    the old rigs setup is:
    Gigabyte 2004RZ MB
    Sapphire x1650 gpu
    amd athlon xp 2800 cpu
    2GB Ram
    Windows XP

I think the crashing is due to just not enough juice but I could use some other advise.

    Thanks.

    You using the latest drivers?
The X1650 probably won't be able to run Fallout 3 very well, if at all, but the others should work.

Ya all my drivers are up to date, I am using a ide 7200rpm 500gb hard drive as well (New) should have mentioned this in the start.

all the games will run for a short amount of time and crash at various times.

Hellgate crashes when you get to the character making screen after the intro movie.
Oblivion crashes at various points at the beginning after the character making screen
Loki crashes when you try to zoom in the level
fallout usually crashes when you start the questing.

it seems to me like a hardware problem.

I just tested painkiller overdose and it crashes to after a few seconds.

but like 25 other games play no problem (granted most of them are older games)

    Hmmmmm.

1.) Double check ram voltage; make sure the mainboard is supplying enough.
2.) Check your temps; could be CPU, Video, or North/south bridge overheating.

What exactly happens when you get the crash?
