I bought the Clone DVD 3.0 copying s/w for the one and only reason, to copy the entire original disk 1:1, without any compressions nor any other method to save space. My first two trials failed. Although I selected whole disk and no compression, the content of the 7.9 GB original disk was compressed onto one 4.3 GB disk. My next one as well. I'm in need of some advice, please. Although I read the manual, I cannot see where my mistake is. There is not much to this program ... Thanks squizzle, hm, now and then one invests wrongly. Any idea which package allows me to copy e.g. 7.5 GB (original) on to two 4.5 GB disks? I.e. to have an identical copy of the original on two disks. Thanks nopfusch
I think you could do that with most programs. DVD Shrink will let you leave your output on your hard drive, then you could just burn 2 copies manually. If you have 2 burners Nero allows you to burn multiple copies simultaneously. I haven't used CloneDVD2 that much, but I think it also lets you leave the output on your hard drive.
Go to the bbmayo guide listed in my sig, and it explains how to split movie to two disks using CloneDVD2, you can preserve menus on both disks if you want.
