Just wondering if any of the members have actualy achieved 16x writing speeds with any of the burners. If so please specify the type of re-writer and model as well as the blank media which was used and also what did you burn and what software programs were used. I myself have not,despite my burner and many others making this claim. BTW I have a Plextor 712A and a BenQ 1620 with the latest firmware installed. I think this is an interesting question and that most members would be curious.
I've read of some people flashing their NEC 3500 and burning 4X media at 16X. But I'm a firm believer in the old addage " if it ain't broke don't fix it" so I'm gonna leave mine as is.
