All, any of you has thi video card? Is this a good one to transfer from VHS to dvd? thanks in advance
Although I don't own the product (I own DVD Xpress), I've heard good things about it. The thing is...Are those VHS copy protected or are they home recordings? Some capture devices can't eliminate the Macrovision copy protection schemes by themselves.
they are home movies and I also wants to transfer movies from my video camera Is this card what I need? In Circuit City they sell it for $34.99 thanks
It seems to me that specific model is more TV oriented. Unfortunately, my experience with capturing video is limited to external USB devices since I've got a laptop. If you have a Desktop computer, maybe investing on a Video Card with capture features is the best way to go, but I can't help you much if that's the case.
Of course not, it's a GREAT card for it's price. I'm using it right now to transfer stuff from my VCR and already have plenty of stuff transferred. Only gripe I have is a size problem...from what I see you go with what they give you..and it's editing down from there. All in all:it's a definite steal for that price.
don't wintv stuff have crappy video quality? I mean what does it compare to a like canopus advc 100-110?
